May Day

What is May Day?
May Day is a public holiday celebrating the return of spring. Dances and singing are usually part of the festivities. Some traditions include the Maypole dance or making a May basket.
When is May Day?
May Day is usually celebrated on May 1st or on the first Monday of May.
